The White Queen

Cold bones

frozen heart,

her angels don’t cry

her demons fly.

Did she fade away?

Did she run away?

I don’t know.

Cold heart

frozen bones

she’s heading to the castle,

it’s where she belongs

she’s no other place to go.

Harpies by her side

whispering some lies,

they expect her to fall and die.

Ogres pass by

and they pay the price

of the eternal pride.

Let the darkest night descend

as the sun turns its back,

guess it is becoming true

hope we haven’t understood.

Her kingdom is coming

she’s locked the walls

and if you want to break ’em down

you’re gonna get bruised.

She made herself a queen,

she hadn’t aways been so mean,

but as she grew up

her tears had been used up,

she got extremely hurt.

Our queen had tried to love another heart

unfortunately the swelling storm had already start.

What happened to the soul she used to be?

She tried not let it go,

it slipped away from her fingers

just like a kite

all together.

Don’t get too close

it’s dark inside,

they say it’s what you made,

she said it’s up to fate.

She thought she found a way

but these ghosts are going to stay

and she can’t get the hell out of here.

Heart made of porcelain,

no need of oxygen.

And then,

in the middle of her winer,

she got to realize that inside her there was an invincible spring.
